Sociale media zijn niet meer weg te denken uit onze maatschappij. Daarom is het belangrijk om deze content te archiveren voor onderzoek en (her)gebruik. Het Vlaams-Nederlandse praktijknetwerk sociale media archiveren pakt deze uitdaging samen aan. Op 15 oktober komen we samen in Den Haag! Deze vierde bijeenkomst focust minder op het archiveren zelf, maar vooral op de toegankelijkheid en het gebruik van gearchiveerde sociale media.
Onderzoekers die social media als bron willen gebruiken en iedereen in de Vlaamse en Nederlandse erfgoedsector die bezig is met het archiveren van sociale media of hieraan wil beginnen.

Deze bijeenkomst vindt plaats op 15 oktober (10-16 uur) bij de KB, nationale bibliotheek in Den Haag (Prins Willem-Alexanderhof 5, 2595 BE Den Haag). Deelnemen is gratis, maar inschrijven is verplicht. De voertaal van deze bijeenkomst is Engels.
Social media is an integral part of our society. That’s why it’s essential to archive this content for research and (re)use. The Flemish-Dutch Social Media Practice Network is taking on this challenge together. On October 15th, we’ll meet again in The Hague! This fourth meeting will focus less on archiving itself and more on the accessibility and use of archived social media.
Researchers who want to use social media as a source and anyone in the Flemish and Dutch heritage sector involved in or looking to start archiving social media.
